It’s my honor and privilege to help people out due to hard circumstances that are created by the complications from both medical treatment and finances in work-related matters,” said Leventis. “If we can help you, please give us a call.”
Leventis recently taught a continuing legal education (CLE) course for the South Carolina State Bar titled “Putting the Fun in SC Workers’ Comp Fundamentals". The seminar provided an in-depth overview of essential topics in workers’ compensation law.
About the seminar
The course covered Workers’ Compensation Commission forms and explored independent medical evaluations from multiple perspectives, including those of the claimant, defense, mediator and Commission. Attendees learned effective strategies for navigating mediations and achieving successful outcomes. It also featured a client intake issue-spotting guide, helping participants recognize potential issues early on. In addition, Leventis addressed affirmative defenses and provided an update on recent case law, ensuring that attendees were up to date on the latest legal developments. Practical advice was also shared on managing difficult clients, adjusters, and opposing counsel, giving participants valuable tools to handle complex workers’ compensation cases with confidence.
